The only Adventure Race from România!

What is an Adventure Race?

Adventure Race means a combination of one or more endurance tests that may include:

–   Tourist orienteering
–   Trail running
–   Mountain biking
–   Kayaking
–   Speleology
–   Orienteering
–   Rock climbing and other surprise challenges

Generally speaking, the endurance adventure races are team events, in which the number of team members may vary.

Usually, in an Adventure Race, the map is handed over to the teams the day before the start and the route is chosen by the teams, who have to go through all the checkpoints in the order established by the race organizers.

What is Propark Adventure Race?

Propark and CPNT have brought back the adventure type contests in Romania.

The first edition featured trekking, mountain biking, kayaking, rappelling, archery, treasure hunting in caves, logging, map orientation, visa orientation and additional surprise tests such as solving puzzles, building houses for wild birds, finding various types of vegetation in the forest.

Attend in the seventh edition between 5-7 august 2022!

Additional information - 2022 edition

The contest will take place in Brașov and Sibiu counties with the possibility of entering neighboring counties.

The competition area and the starting place will be displayed on the competition website upon registration closure, 30 days before the start of the race.

The map with the checkpoints to be reached will be handed to the teams during the technical meeting, twelve hours before the start.

THE ROUTE IS NOT ENFORCED! Each team is free to choose their own route from one checkpoint to another.

The mandatory equipment for the race is detailed in the race regulations.

The start will take place on August 5, 2022 at 8:00 A.M.

The choice of rest points during the competition is up to the registered teams choice.

The arrival time limit is: 50 hours (August 7, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. )

  • Team: four persons, at least one girl
  • Time: maximum 50 hours
  • Trials: mountain biking, trail running, tourist orienteering, kayaking, rock climbing, speleology and others.
