About us
By analysing the format of these competitions and what the athletes would like, we decided to organise a complex competition with a high level of difficulty, promoting protected natural areas as ideal destinations for outdoor sports activities. We also want to highlight their importance for nature conservation at national level, but especially the benefits for neighbouring communities.
In the first editions we benefited from the collaboration with the Club for Nature Protection and Tourism Brasov. We knew “how it is with protected areas”, they knew “how it is with marathons”. Then, with each edition, with each feedback from the participants and the contribution of each collaborator – representatives of park administrations, mountain bikers, volunteers, etc. … we learned and improved.
With each edition our enthusiasm has grown and we still want you to have unforgettable experiences. Because, as you well know, it’s not only about running, paddling, climbing or cycling, it’s about having a complex experience, getting to know nature better and learning how to live in harmony with it.
